met en (one of my juniors from my orientation group) friday night @ vivo and she showed me some really neat stuff on animation. though she only gave me a brief overview of the subject, i'd say it really deepened my resolve to make this one of the fields of study i'll pursue in university which very probably equates to byu provo. but that's besides the point.

STOP MOTION, 2D, 3D, FLASH and PIXILLATION (another form of STOP MOTION - but people rather than figurines). check it out (:



this is one example of pixillation done on the back of a frame by frame of 2D i think. not gonna just go 'hey! that's really a neat mv! or 'that's cute' or '(fill in the blanks with your own personalized reaction to video)'.

so this is just a prelude and intro to the types of animations i've learned that make the movie 'coraline' which utilizes stop motion animation.
