so anyway han and i didn't manage to catch UP in the end. so i guess i'll get e DVD when it comes out. darn. i've missed it again. haha. really a tell tale sign of not having enough time to go catch a good movie when ure in OCS amongst the mountain of rice grains of errands u gotta run. so han and i walked around ION getting lost and in the process finding an epic failure of a music store where u can't even browse and listen to tracks. so there goes the ability to confirm the consumer's choice. and in the end... that means money would probably change hands less and result in the slow growth in the economy. marion came by after her convention committee meeting and the only intent we had was gaming. haha. and Pres. Lai was just talking about the ill effects of idolatry (gaming being one of them) and new trends (i almost spelt trent) in society.

and seriously, even optimus prime and bruce lee and joker and many other villains are worth more than obama.

i want to say it but i can't cos i don't know if its the thing u wanna hear. so i'd rather things just remain as they are.

the things u observe when ure doing things when everyone else is sweating it out at the playground. i really saw a bee struggle. it was in like those ginormous (to them) pools of water doing a back stroke trying to get itself out. it was like a toddler almost drowning in the deep end of a kids' pool. so i shifted it out with my boot and it was able to walk. but the weirdest of things happened. an ant (soldier size) came and attacked the bee struggling to "walk" (i just realized bees don't exactly walk), and then killed it and picked it up and headed back towards its nest i suppose. kinda reminds me of the first madagascar when marty was feeling sad that alex turned cannibalistic and was walking away from carnivore land when he helped a duckie away from a place with snakes and owls into a small pool only for a crocodile to eat it.

so am i black with white stripes or white with black stripes? i'm past 18 and i still don't know.

something's really wrong. my mac's acting weirdly to the extent that i can't even view mail. thankfully i still have the com in bunk to do all that which the mac's new version of the internet browser safari has some glitches about. and i've just realised i've been so pentium 1 about the news outside that i didn't even realise that slow internet speeds were due to a recent typhoon in taiwan.

anyway the day was so far spent in sid's car which was borrowed from his aunt which really has some nice exterior concept. it looks like quite a neat looking ride but the engine is really a puss. initially i thought it was one of those meant for drifting purposes, sid was like 'THINK AGAIN'. so the 5 of us had a joy ride down to KAP from ECP during which its quite surprisingly that guys going through and because they are going through such courses like OCS had political talk in a 4-seater mitsubishi which looked like a cherry and only managed to hit like 30-40kmh in 5s tops. Sid was really on the gas full and the engine groaned like tired servicemen. but man... the boom boom sound system really doesn't complement the power of the engine. what can i say? IMBA.

met up with alfred (our BMT platoon's only child), qian yu (heat stroke) and nicklaus (qai imitator). apparently this was the first night i stepped into a pub with them down @ dempsey road so they could wind down and down a shot. the glass looked so frothy it looked like they injected gas into sprite. but anyway, that aside, dempsey really is some cool concept marketplace like area. other than the pubs and what have you there, i'd probably go there again. there was quite a solid band at the ben&jerry's outlet and the food there with the adjacent california restaurant is pretty good.

i can't believe han just made me play karoshi.

walking past ion ytd felt so weird. walking in it felt like some taiwan (except that i haven't been to taiwan) bling bling mega departmental store. the landscape sure changed. i need a longer break to feel more like a civilian.

i think ndp is ok. just spoiled by certain parts during the performances that really irked me.

yesterday was spent having a good time with han, marion and john and han's classmate jake. L4D never seemed so fun to be the infected. so there went a good solid 3 hours with some awesome pple.

so later after institute, time spent with more awesome pple... bryden, geno, marion and i accompanied rachel for her last dinner out on a weekend in singapore before she flies off to provo. geno had this spastastic spasm about him and shopping, originally from rachel's sudden outburst that just caught everyone's attention. botak jones and some gay-ish dancing what u call them kind of kept us entertained during dinner. and geno just wanted to lock bryden so badly. so geno's spasm was relieved when we went to M.A.C. to pick up sth Bryden was asked to get.
