it felt so good clicking the button 'submit' and see it go 'approved' :D
met some of my best pals from secondary sch. chatted up after we staked out a spot on orchard central's roof top garden to just sit and talk (:
the past weekend was really eventful.
friday was ying er's concert. ended up becoming a hanger and stand for all of ying er's belongings while she was mobbed by her ginormous fan base. i've realized i really have not been to see her play for over a year since i've entered army. so friday was WOW. unbelievably awesome getting to see her play the harp again. i missed the stake youth musical edition due to parade. almost made off with her violin! haha.
saturday was DJ's 18th birthday party and debut. ran little errands during the past week to prepare for this. alter pants, get the cologne i was supposed to months back, and get a nice skinny tie which kandace has been going 'i like your tie' quite a lot (thanks! i like it too!). i admit that i was really a bunch of nerves and probably corroded and not rusty having not touched waltz for probably even longer than not attending ying er's concerts. that was one crazy night.
sunday was spent chatting up with others and making a long trip to retrieve some work related stuff that i needed from camp. heh heh. scatterbrain siahh. forgot to grab it before leaving on friday.
wonderful sunday (: ward conference was a real reminder about how sometimes even the smallest of gestures leave the biggest impacts. a card in missionary work would do just the trick. u don't need have to have to wear the black badge. sometimes people just find it intimidating they say. but yepp. a card.
awesome spread of food and fun for lunch. nonsense around asking people 'u want a chocolate?' and ended up unleashing a beating on david for his tie slap. too bad both our bodies were burnt yesterday from 6 hours at siloso. marie ended up the most red after that day! haha. but it was fun (: played bubble town (haha.) on kandace's phone while she played nature park >.< on my lousy 1G army guy phone, then foamed on the couch with josh on the 3rd floor while waiting for cottage meeting to start.
marion finally came for an after church session hours activity! so we took the train (the red line) all the way back with kandace, ally, joshua and hyrum because we missed the one that would bring us to the green line cos marion was all blur about taking the train. almost got knotted by my own tie thanks to balancing issues :P had a nice good long time catching up (: REALLY REALLY REALLY glad she came for cottage meeting today. thank you (: yupp. questions answered indeed.
look out here comes the red checkered shirt

*take care bro and hang in there

even tho its only a quarter done through the year, i'm actually quite ready to say that how to train your dragon probably tops all the movies i have watched and probably will watch in the next 9 months. Maybe when i get to uni, i think i'll most likely end up studying film and animation which is one of the shortlisted courses i've been looking into. i hope you all had fun and that there weren't any issues with the time u all reached home. when i have a car next time, it shouldn't be a problem :P just don't expect any fancy and slick rides. i still ava mission ta save fo yo.

in the mean time, take care u all (:

spent this morning with a fine group of people. been a while since i saw some of them. it was good clean fun (except for a little paint, mud and bruises). i was reading this really good book that sis mailed me from UK recently at work and on one of the pages there was this saying 'you forget what you want to remember and you remember what you want to forget.' therefore, the importance of journalling (: so u know what to do.

one that got away :P
