she's one of my best friends this marion
short on one or two things but maybe that's all
she said she knew me when she was 4
but then i don't even remember being 4

there was this time
this mailbox got shocked
but then that little storm
just wore off and got lost

on 711 the past year
she and han sure gave me a surprise jyeah
sure we had cake and maybe some shake
we also made faces and expressions fake (remember photobooth on the imac?)

and as i sit back looking out at the rain
i realize how different life is and has changed
maybe someday somewhere i'll find things strange
but i know these friends of mine won't go away
