while Godfrey and i were trudging along with the heavy loads just like everyone else, we were tasked with picking up all the 3cm long lightsticks scattered on the floor that lit the path at night and discovered some really cool stuff on the way. there were some really interestingly shaped leaves and flowers that actually glowed in the dark on their own. i tried to pick some up but when the day was up they seemed to have lost their illumination. having put them together with a whole bunch of tiny lightSTUBS... maybe its just that sometimes even nature is humble at times.

she's one of my best friends this marion
short on one or two things but maybe that's all

ben's synthesizer coupled with sweet yamaha speakers and his own phaser in his own room really puts me to envy. not to mention his own set of 3 guitars - acoustic, rhythmic and electric. he's done up this really cool layering effect with his synthesizer to play songs on a solo effort with all the melody and bass lines coming in with the percussion. so we've done up to the first verse of try by asher book. good work for last night. and he's got a new canon EOS 7d which he and his sis were flashing around when i met them before heading to their house. ben's other aspiration is to be a private eye and snap photos of unknowing couples and black mail them on facebook.

funny. it was only within space of few minutes i bumped into 3 people, 2 of whom know each other and are in my platoon now. eugene and chris were just one floor apart from each other. gene caught me at the mrt as i exited wearing what all of them called an altered penguin (white short sleeve and pants). and then i saw chris at uni qlo trying out some berms i think. and i also saw albert who used to work at e digi-photo booth at the zoo. apparently, now he's working as a sales assistant at uni qlo. thanks to him (and not some other sales assistant) i got myself a pair of sweat pants.

just came back from conference sitting next to marion, han, wenyuan and xuan throughout the 2 sessions. had to wake up early for car park duty in the morning. *yawns* and now my famous amos 200g pack has been sucked dry (or rather... munched dry). had lunch out of the car boot.

something that just came out about han:
this kid han, he's a whole lot of fun
stood next to me during a concert once
he was just this other kid back then
but this friend is definitely not what u'd call just that.

the year blew by, camp and dance
no one knew he'd pull off some crazy stunts
the dude may not look it but sure packed a punch
and took it out with me on the dance floor once (he did really. playfully.)

time passed and he showed he had even more
his artistry in comic became celebrated like folklore
then this kid made a card last year
and now its safely kept in the memories of past years (:

i remember when i was a kid and i would just start making a heck lot of noise. just like how u'd describe a siamang. just like how u'd describe a very noisy siamang. sfx wise yes. the whole lot of kids just did in the evening. they're an awesome bunch. SO THOSE WHO DIDN'T COME... LEMME RUB IT IN A BIT... U MISSED SOME GOOD FUN.

went back to e zoo yesterday. had a nice chat with some of the OAs like jade and firdaus. did keeper for just the morning and well... things haven't changed. i'm just not as fast as ur typical average full timer at all the different duties. so yeah, i'm still kinda blur since i don't do all that for a living. one of closer keeper friends cheryl asked me to switch over to her section at e rhinos, giraffes and zebras. heh. tempting. maybe it's time.

went for supper with bryden, marion, geno and vera. if i'm not wrong it was an economy size murtabak, one medium murtabak - geno, 2 kosong prata and a kambing soup - bryden, and 4 milo dinosaurs and a milo godzilla amongst all of us.

just came back from a drink with ben. this dude totally just got me out of the house and all the way to city hall to just chill and talk about random stuff like past jobs, a certain unlike-able person in the platoon, girls and music! pretty interesting talking to him about music especially and about big plans to perform some awesome songs. so the target is in 6 months somewhere after the 21st of march when we commission (: awesome snazz.

took a walk down to this robert's piano shop too and got to touch some sweet kawaii pianos. man the touch already makes me already wanna buy it. but it's at least 3 times the amount we got this 20+ year old (and counting) upright grand piece which is still in healthy shape btw. ben's really awesome (i don't mean me) he's uber talented at music. guitar, piano and drums and what have you? sounds like a modern and impressionistic ying er - violin, piano and harp? (not saying she's some old stuff or anything. she's good! but its the genres of the music that make e difference) :P
