anyway, the past 2 weeks have been packed sick with work. I'm just taking liberties to secure some time to rest. its been awesome that i've been able to do so. but then again, when at work which has been going overtime, i've seen so many bad sides that its just distasteful. well... I'm just saying.

learnt and accomplished some awesome stuff from Marie (Tan) when I went over to her place. thanks (: didn't really think that i'd be able to play jon schmidt's 'all of me' well enough to keep going right till the end yet. but it was still passable playing to me. i'm going to finish (AND VID) those songs i've been meaning to - hey soul sister, love story, you belong with me, angel in disguise and +++.

Marie (Low) 'jie jie' is having a dance concert next wednesday. though it means skipping institute i think i'll go anyway. don't mention about going on saturday. there's port dickson recce!

I know I'm still really bad when it comes to words when the jitters come (too often). But I'd rather be there than not.

so the day's events changed quite drastically within hours.

was out with my jc classmates last night. fun bunch of peers (:
lulu was also there and we were supposed to go for popping today. till it changed just before yesterday ended. wanted to go watch despicable me but ended staying up late with an awesome group of people which made me real tired so i didn't watch it in the end. texted trent in the morning to ask if there was still gonna be an outing of any sort after activity which i slept in at home too much to attend and only reached when trent was leaving. then ying xuan, him and i decided on getting a short lunch of pasta at taka. ended up going to trent's house, you-tubing vids of performances: sytycd, australia's got talent, yiruma, sakomoto yurichi and this cool 'ukulele weeps' gig; checking out national events like the night festival (didn't go in e end again) and YOG matches (ward YSA/SA activity! sounds awesome).

so in the end after doing all this, and watching a REALLY good movie interestingly titled THE GREEN MILE. i ended up not going to view the NDP rehearsal and enjoying a good 3 hours of solid good movie minus the expletives. but well... it is a GOOD movie. really touching. and of all places it would revolve around would be a death row prison block where a certain angel in disguise would come to touch the lives of everyone. we should all take a short look around from time to time and see if we can spot them.

the most amazing thing about this is that the chinese looking dude (alex) is really a ballet dancer.

tmr afternoon/evening is sounding pretty crazy.

gonna be spending a couple of hours with the stake youth painting/moving furniture at a nursing home. followed by ysa/sa convention meeting with the progs committee and ndp rehearsal safety coverage. grrr... need to de-conflict the two. and besides that... ben still has to slot time in for popping cos its the thing now that lulu and he does.

yes. that's right. ben has really gotten himself into too many things to even be able to do most of them. he thinks it best that maybe if he had easier transportation of his own life would be wee bit more manageable. oh sometimes i wish i had wings or had nightcrawler's ability.

mac has the weirdest special characters. the hex key actually keys in £. which explains why i used an asterisk instead. actually i didn't know what other character would make an appropriate substitution.

anyway. i just got some SAT books from parker. took a good look at the first few vocab lists. gonna be working hard to improve this state of singlish to at least acceptable english, but of course still retaining some original singaporean flavor. everyone gets hooked on LAHs and LORs.
